While living in China for over a decade, Emily Steele Jackson made a crazy number of foods from scratch, fixed shower problems with PVC pipe, raised a couple Third Culture Kids, and always tried to get her tones right.

Emily publicly enjoys hiking and traveling, and secretly enjoys looking at memes. She lives with her husband, two kids, and Siberian husky in Tucson, Arizona.
